My name is Jovan Franklin and I am a photographer in the KC Metro area. I decided to start my own business after many years of being on the other end of the lens. I am no stranger to the camera, coming from a world of pageants, fitness competitions, public speaking engagements, and sports throughout my life. Watching my own children grow right in front of my eyes reminded me the importance of capturing those special moments in time, and this is how I choose to perfect my craft.
My style of photography has been defined by the natural light and the distinctive profile of my clients. I pay attention to detail and make sure to capture candid and original photos that show the true beauty of you! My specialty consists of children, families, and weddings.

Morghan Borders, founder and CEO of Morghan on The BEAT, LLC was born and raised in Kansas City, MO. "I started learning how to do my own makeup from Youtube! Like, Peakmill doing wig videos YOUTUBE!” Little by little, I practiced on my friends and family until I mustered up the courage to start promoting myself outside my close circle in 2018.
In 2020, I decided to make Morghan On The Beat a business, and I filed for my LLC! One year later I am a fulltime business owner getting to do what I love, while encouraging others to do the same. When my clients are in The Beat Box, it is a time to relax, and reset! Morghan on The BEAT is truly an experience!
